Crafting Progression
UFO Future now has a clearer machine ladder instead of centering everything on the DMA forever.
1. DMA Stage
Start with the Dimensional Matter Assembler for:
- first advanced materials
- coolant production
- catalysts
- early processor and matter components
This is the flexible single-block phase.
2. Universal Multiblock Stage
Once recipes become too large, too frequent or too expensive for manual DMA use, move into the multiblocks:
- Quantum Matter Fabricator for large DMA-style jobs
- Quantum Slicer for printed parts
- Quantum Processor Assembler for final processor assembly
At this point the intended playstyle shifts from “feed one machine” to “let AE2 dispatch work into a parallel production line”.
3. Tier Upgrade Stage
Upgrading a multiblock tier does two things:
- unlocks higher-tier recipes
- accelerates lower-tier recipes automatically
That means older production chains never stop mattering; they just become cheaper and faster infrastructure.
4. Stellar Nexus Stage
The Stellar Nexus sits above the universal multiblocks. It is for huge simulations, enormous AE costs and extreme-scale generation.
It is not just a stronger crafter. It is the long-cycle industrial capstone of the mod.
